GuideSpend ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our current public practices for information collected through our site, product access flows, and customer communications.

1. Data We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as contact details, organization details, account information, and information shared through forms, support requests, or onboarding conversations.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected to operate the site, respond to inquiries, support account access, provide GuideSpend services, and improve our product and documentation.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties. We only share information with robust sub-processors necessary to run our service, or as required by law.

4. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Deletion requests cover all organization data (asset records, contracts, attachments, and user accounts) as well as personal data associated with your account.

To request deletion, use the Data & Privacy page in your account settings at /app/settings/data-privacy, or email us directly at support@guidespend.com.

Deletion requests are processed within 5 business days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete. All requests are subject to applicable law and any customer agreement in place.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. After account cancellation or deletion, we retain your data for 90 calendar days to allow for reactivation and to meet any legal obligations. After the 90-day retention window, your data is permanently deleted from our systems, including all asset records, contracts, attachments, and user profiles.
